So I made it back home to see my sisters final year Fine Art Show. She is going on to study Fashion photography at Leeds Art College and I couldn’t be more proud of her.
Her project was based around creating material and promoting her fictional band “Love The Accent”. She has been inspired by vintage photography from the 1960’s and 70’s. She has manipulated her photography to give it a contemporary feel such as 3D.
Here are a couple of pictures from her stand.
I came across these amazing oil paintings on Design you Trust
I love how colourful and exciting they are. I think the two above are my faves but you can see more here.
He uses quite a different technique by using a palette knife instead of a brush but you see that it works for him in these amazing paintings! You can also visit here to buy any of his work
Whilst wondering around covent garden on my lunch break i stumbled across a temp shop by the designer daviddavid
I found so many things inside that I would love to have but for now I settled for this brooch to add a bit of colour to my new blazer
There are so many more amazing things though! If you can’t make it they have an online shop also.

I would love this calendar! It would definitely add a splash of colour to my flat!
Each day is represented by a square which is heat sensitive. So when you touch the black part it completely disappears to reveal a fun or historical fact from that day!
There is also room to write in your own notes and to do’s for each day.
