Centenary of the St Ives Times

So about nine months ago one of my very close friends Becky Jacobs moved all the way to St Ives to work at the Tate. Since being there she has been rushed off her feet and really been wisked up into the museum working life. She has been exposed to some amazing opportunities that would have been quite impossible to experience at a young age in London.

Recently she has had the opportunity to take part in putting together an exhibition within the Tate. As anyone who works at a museum must know this takes months and months of preparation and late nights with artists, designers, copywriters, museum associates etc. All in all after speaking to her several times while she was in the process of setting up she has had a great deal of input and it shows that it is possible to succeed in something that you may feel is beyond your experience as long as you concentrate and learn along the way. I want to congratulate her as now the exhibition is up and running within the cafe area from now until 9th January 2011. Please go and check it out if you are in the area!
